Membership is open to men and women who are at least 18 years old

and have a good reputation in the community.

Need to work community service hours?  Volunteers are welcome.

When you join Uxbridge & District Lions Club, you are part of the largest world-wide volunteer organization.  Being a Lions Club Member as an active volunteer in our community, you are a member of a respected international organization, a leader in the community and a friend to people in need.

When you are a member of our club, you have the opportunity to make a difference in the community and internationally.  Join us in focusing on service work in the following local concerns and Lions Clubs International global causes, including hunger, vision, environment, childhood cancer, and diabetes.

The focus of our projects is to serve all age groups.  For example, the new Universal Accessible Playground opened in July 2023.  Funds raised from our events go back into the community by donating funds to various community organizations in the Uxbridge community.

As a member of the Uxbridge & District Lions Club, you will have the opportunity to help others, meet new people, and use your talents to make an impact in our community.  You will also be able to acquire new skills, contribute your talents on projects that are valuable to the community, grow personally, develop new friendships and have fun at the same time.

Being a Lion makes you feel appreciated and needed.  Being a Lion gives you the opportunity to give back what has been given to you.

We are also a strong advocate club of the Lions Foundation of Dog Guides Canada where dogs are trained to assist people with disabilities such as vision, hearing, seizure response, service assisting people with a physical or medical disability, autism assistance, diabetes alert, and facility support dogs for agencies that assist individuals in traumatic situations.

When you join our club, you are a member of the
largest volunteer organization in the world.
